  • Bio:

    Luana is a professional genealogist specializing in U.S. and Canadian research and dabbles in Palatine German research as well. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Family History from BYU and has a master's degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. She is a frequent lecturer in venues throughout the U.S., including NGS, RootsTech, ICAPGen, the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, BYU Computerized and Family History conferences, UGA conferences and other regional genealogical conferences in the Salt Lake Valley. She is past president and board member of the Utah Genealogical Association and was the local volunteer conference coordinator for the National Genealogical Society conference in Salt Lake in 2010.
