  • Bio:

    I am a professional genealogist who specializes in forensic, Jewish, black and newspaper research. I have presented talks on genealogy and family history to diverse audiences, including actors, at local, regional, state, and national events. I am the editor for ZichronNote, the journal of the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish Genealogical Society (SFBAJGS); The Baobab Tree, the journal of the African American Genealogical Society of Northern California (AAGSNC); and the CSGA Newsletter. I am also the vice president and publicity director for SFBAJGS and a board member of AAGSNC. I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Council for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy, the California Genealogical Society, and the California State Genealogical Alliance. I have been on the staff of the Oakland FamilySearch Library since 2000.
