Speaker and educator for local, regional, and national events. Faculty member at Samford University’s Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR). Author of a number of books and journal articles. Expert in Proprietor and Commonwealth land records, mapping, and land placement. Southern border county research includes frequent on-site research at repositories in Annapolis, Baltimore, Maryland counties, West Virginia, and Virginia. He is the author of a number of books and journal articles.
