Before being bitten by the genealogy bug, Carol was a school librarian for many years. The joy of connecting people with the information they need has remained a constant. After her father passed away the family elected her the Archivist, which led to her becoming the Genealogist as well. She decided to do a slight career shift, got her Genealogical Certificate through Boston University, and the Genealogy Gods thoughtfully presented an opening at the Godfrey Memorial Library, a genealogy and local history library within driving distance of home. She and her husband live on the Connecticut coast, and they have two lovely grown children.
